Sundowns ready for Dikwena challenge

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns spokesperson Thulani Thuswa said they are looking to retain their glory on the field when 'Downs face Platinum Stars this weekend.

Thuswa told Sport24 that fans should be on the look-out for striker Abdul Fiston Razak who will be showcasing his skills on the field.

Thuswa stressed that playing against Cavin Johnson’s side will be a challenge as their opponents are particularly strong on attack.

“I will definitely say that you should look out for Abdul Fiston Razak,” Thuswa told Sport24.

“But also look out for Ramahlwe Mphahlele, he is looking very sharp in the back there.”

“You see if you're playing against a side like Johnson’s you are expecting a lot of attack and we'll have to cover that.”

“We are definitely looking forward to this match. We will retain our glory.”

Mamelodi Sundowns will face Platinum Stars in the Absa Premiership opener on Saturday at the Royal Bafokeng stadium.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
