'Downs lifted by injury news

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that Khama Billiat along with a host of other players are in contention to face Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday.

According to the club's official website, Khama Billiat, Cuthbert Malajila and Themba Zwane have received the green light from the team doctors after injury scares ahead of the important league match.

The trio picked up knocks in the PSL win over Mpumalanga Black Aces.

Billiat went for a scan on a suspected groin injury but results came back normal which means the player is available for selection.

Zwane picked up a minor knock on his knee while Malajila has recovered from a foot injury.

Rodney Ramagalela is also available for selection as he returned from a groin injury.

With Kaizer Chiefs increasing their grip on the PSL lead, Sundowns must beat Bloemfontein Celtic to remain in the hunt to defend their league title.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
