Sundowns, Wits share Q3 lead

Cape Town - The Absa Premiership Q3 is shaping up to be a close race, with Mamelodi Sundowns and Wits leading the way at the halfway stage.

The Brazilians and Students have both won three matches and drawn one, leaving them tied on 10 points, with 'Downs on top due to goal difference.

The University of Pretoria, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs follow next on eight points.

Q3 consists of eight games with two PSL matches scheduled for Tuesday night before the league takes a break for a week for Nedbank Cup matches to take place in the coming days.
