Students to sign Fernandez

Cape Town – Bidvest Wits have been hit by injury to first choice goalkeeper Moeneeb Josephs which has opened the door for Rowen Fernandez to sign for the students.

After being released by SuperSport United and then training with Mpumalanga Black Aces, Fernandez has been training with Wits and according to KickOff, Gavin Hunt will sign the former Bafana Bafana 'keeper as back-up for Josephs.

“Slim Kat” is expected to be out for six weeks as he will miss Wits’ MTN8 clash against Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday at 20:00.
