Rustenburg - Following recent speculation linking Platinum Stars winger Mogakolodi Ngele with a possible move to Orlando Pirates, Dikwena's football manager Senzo Mazingiza said there is no communication between the two teams regarding the services of the 23-year-old player.
The Botswana international has been at the centre of attention in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) transfer window period following a top season with the North West Tycoons.
Mazingiza told Sport24 in an exclusive interview that Ngele’s possible move to the Soweto giants remains “just a rumour".
“We don’t know anything like that at Platinum Stars,” he said.
“At the moment I am in Zambia and I will be back on Friday.
“There are no talks between us and Pirates about Ngele as far as we know.
“Mogakolodi (Ngele) is still a Platinum Stars player,” added Mazingiza
“Tsotso” helped Stars clinch the cup double last season when they walked away with the MTN8 and the Telkom Knockout Cup.
They upset the Buccaneers in both finals.
Ngele was on target twice when they won the Telkom Knockout final 2-1 at Mbombela Stadium after coming on as a second half substitute on December 7.
