Soweto to host TKO final

Cape Town – It has been revealed that the Telkom Knockout final will be held at one of two stadiums in Soweto.

According to KickOff, Orlando or Dobsonville Stadium will be used for the Saturday, November 29 final.

SuperSport United will face current holders Platinum Stars for the silverware - and R4.25m prize money.

Luxolo September, PSL spokesperson, has not been drawn into revealing which venue will be used, only saying, “The venue will be announced tomorrow (Wednesday, November 19).”

Gordon Igesund’s side beat Orlando Pirates 2-0 in the semi-finals while Platinum Stars added more headache woes for Pitso Mosimane’s after edging Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0.

A kick-off time for the final is also still to be confirmed.
