Sibande starts Maritzburg trial

Cape Town - Sandile Sibande’s search for a new home continues as the former Wits midfielder begins training with Maritzburg United in hopes of securing a contract.

The 27-year-old finds himself without a club following a disappointing loan spell at relegated Moroka Swallows.

Speaking with KickOff, United official Quintin Jettoo said: "He only arrived here two days ago and is training with the team, and we will make an assessment next week."

Sibande joined Zimbabwean international Evans Rusike and former Orlando Pirates attacker Rudolf Bester, who are also on trial at the club.
