Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala says that Amakhosi are seeking maximum points against Moroka Swallows.

Speaking on his official website, Shabba admits that the second half of the PSL season has not been the greatest for Amakhosi.

“The second half of the Absa Premiership season has not been as positive as the first for us, yet the fight continues,” said Shabba.

“Out of five matches since returning from the break the team collected a total of five points. We drew twice, won one match and lost the remaining two.

“It is not necessarily a bad record considering the fact that we are still in pole position on the log table. We lead the rest of the teams with eight points and only eight games remain.

“The Nedbank Cup has also been kind to us as we are in the round of 16 and will face Black Leopards from the National First Division on 21 March 2015.

“This is our chance to get back to our winning ways after the loss to Maritzburg United. Swallows are one of the oldest teams in Mzansi and it promises to be a tough fixture.

“We do know that they have not been playing well and are realistically in danger of falling in the relegation zone. This means that they will also be looking for three points with the same intensity as us.
