Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala has called on the club's fans to refrain from celebrating winning the Absa Premiership as they have not won the title yet.

"Yes we have done well so far and we are ahead of the pack,” Tshabalala said on his official website.

“This though does not mean the league is over. It is not over until the last match of the season.

“We have to keep focused and go all the way,"

Stuart Baxter's men are currently 13 points ahead of second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns, who have the best chance of catching up to Amakhosi at the summit of the Premiership standings.

Chiefs are run-away favorites to lift the 2014/2015 Absa Premiership title and need only a win against Polokwane City to clinch their second league title in three seasons.

Sundowns recently slipped up following a shock 5-0 defeat to Bloemfontein Celtic. They now have to win the remaining five matches to reach a total of 62 points.

Chiefs are already at the 60-point mark and need only three more points to be crowned champions.
