Bloemfontein - Free State Stars captain, Paulus Masehe, is adamant last season’s PSL top goal scorer, Moeketsi Sekola, is not yet ready for a move to the big teams in Gauteng.
The veteran midfielder, who has also played for Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, told Sport24 that Sekola should work on improving his game before considering a big money move to the premiership big guns.
“I told him that the time is not yet ready for him to move. He should concentrate on becoming a lethal striker and should not be tempted to get big salaries,” said Masehe.
“He should find his identity because he will be frustrated at a big team if he does not get game time.”
Masehe said the Botshabelo-born striker can be a hit for Ea Lla Koto in the new season provided he stays.
“I’m confident that we will be a better side this campaign and expect management to add a few qualities players to make us stronger,” the Ea Lla Koto skipper said.
The Free State-based side returned for pre-season on Monday.
