According to Stars’ website, Sekola has netted thrice this season after playing in an advanced role behind the strikers.
“I am certainly enjoying my new role playing behind the strikers and to have scored three goals so far it’s because of collective effort and hard work,” Sekola said.
The midfielder mentioned that the arrival of the new coach, Tom Saintfiet, has also pushed him to do better and hopes he can get a call-up to the Bafana Bafana squad as he sets his goals for the season ahead.
“I don’t want to say how many goals I will score come end of the season.
"I don’t want to put myself under pressure. I am taking it one game at a time.” added the player.
“My goals for this season are to see the team do well both in the league and cup competition and also to see myself wearing the Bafana Bafana jersey.”
