Cape Town - Issa Sarr believes a considerable amount of ground can be covered during the current international break, adding that Orlando Pirates have been keeping busy throughout.

There have been several breaks throughout the current campaign - one of them extended by the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations - and Pirates are not going to waste this opportunity ensure that the club is adequately prepared for the business end of the league campaign. Commentary from Sarr would suggest as much.

"We have been playing friendly games and the games have been helping to keep us busy," Sarr told Soccer Laduma.

"It's important at this stage of the season that we keep playing all the time.

"The management and the technical team made sure we kept busy which is very good and it was good for the team and the players."

The next assignment for Orlando Pirates will be a CAF Confederation Cup fixture against the Uganda Revenue authority next Saturday.

At this juncture, the balance of power in this fixture appears to be in Pirates' favour.

However, travelling on the continent has never been easy for South African teams and the status quo is unlikely to change next week either.
