Sarr: African journey helping us

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfielder Issa Sarr told Sport24 that as a team they are getting used to playing in Africa.

Pirates are the only South African team still playing in Africa and tomorrow they face AC Leopards of Congo in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages game in an away match.

He said it's tough moving back-and-forth between different countries but that is testing the team‘s strength.

"We are getting used to playing in Africa and it's helping us as a team," the Senegalese international observed.

"It's actually making us strong as a team. We always aim to do well and that means fighting hard.

"We are going to fight on Saturday and come back with a good result.

"This is the group stage and every point counts."
