Sangweni puts Bucs on alert

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates defender Siyabonga Sangweni urges his team-mates to forget about their CAF result and turn their focus to the PSL.

The Sea Robbers secured a final spot in the CAF Confederation Cup final after beating Al Ahly 5-3 on aggregate and have been on a high ever since.

According to Soccer Laduma, Jele has brought his sides mentality back down to earth persisting that their switch their focus to their Telkom Knockout fixture against the University of Pretoria.

"You know they say you are as good as your last game and our last game was great but we have put that behind us as we gave another game to play which will make us much better if we win and that is against Tuks.

"We have to make sure we win tomorrow and proceed to the next round. And to do that we have to forget about the past result and make sure we get a result tomorrow."

Kick-off is at 20:00.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
