According to the club's website, the centre-back was involved in a car accident last week but has since resumed full training with the rest of the squad.
“Siya is doing normal training with everybody else - the team is injury free,” said the club's medical team.
“Only the technical team will decide if he makes the squad for Saturday’s match, but from our side, he is injury free and is doing normal training with everybody else.”
Last season Bucs took four points off the University-based side, winning 2-1 at home before playing to a goalless draw in the return match.
Orlando Pirates are currently in fifth place on the PSL log with eight points from five matches while the Clever Boys sit two spots above the Soweto giants in third position. Wits have accrued 10 points from their first five league matches.
The Buccaneers meet Wits in their crunch PSL encounter on Saturday, September 13 at 20:15.
