Sandilands to fight for place

Durban - Wayne Sandilands’ agent Glyn Binkin says his client will remain at Mamelodi Sundowns and fight his way back into the starting XI.

"Wayne is still contracted to Sundowns and they have made it clear that they still want his services having offered him a new contract some months ago," Binkin told Sport24.

"He will remain at the club and fight for his place because it’s going to be a long season of injuries and suspensions."

Binkin admitted that lack of game time is frustrating the goalkeeper.

"No player is happy when he is not playing, but Wayne is a strong character and will fight," said Binkin.

The former Platinum Stars has been linked with a move away from Sundowns due to lack of game time.
