Johannesburg - Free State Stars coach Tom Saintfiet has lauded his charges following their comeback win over Moroka Swallows.
The Belgian mentor watched Ea Lla Koto go two goals down in the first half, but they managed to claw their way back into the game and registered a memorable 3-2 win.
Speaking after the match, Saintfiet was pleased with his side's fighting spirit, saying: "We did the same against SuperSport United a few weeks ago (after being 2-0 down at half-time).
"I think in the first half we were not that bad. We had more opportunities in the first half, but our finishing was not so good.
"(In the) second half, I was quite angry and made changes. I demanded the same performance as we (produced) against SuperSport, and the boys did it quite well. I'm happy with the performance," he added.
The win takes the Qwa-Qwa outfit up to sixth place in the standings, with 10 points from seven matches.
Stars’ next PSL fixture is against Orlando Pirates on Saturday, October 18.
