SuperSport to face Q2 winners

Cape Town - SuperSport United will host Absa Premiership Quarter Two winners Polokwane City at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

SuperSport played to their third draw of the season in their last outing, as they were held goalless away to Ajax Cape Town.

The Tshwane side has claimed nine points from seven home matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Bidvest Wits, Chippa United (both away) and Free State Stars (home).

Matsatsantsa are placed 11th on the PSL log with 16 points from 13 matches.

Polokwane wrapped up the Quarter Two award when they defeated Chippa United 3-1 in their last outing, claiming 16 of the last 18 available points.

The Limpopo side has claimed 12 points from seven away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are University of Pretoria, Maritzburg United (both home) and Ajax Cape Town (away).

Rise and Shine are placed eighth on the Premiership log with 20 points from 14 matches.

In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Polokwane have met in just two league matches.

Both of those encounters took place last season, with the teams drawing 1-1 in Limpopo, before United claimed a 4-2 home win in the return game.

Kick-off is at 18:00 on Saturday, December 13.
