Cape Town – SuperSport United made a u-turn on the earlier announcement that the match against Chippa United has been postponed.
Sport24 reported that United confirmed via their official social media accounts that the match has been postponed.
The reason for the forced postponement was because Ronwen Williams, Clayton Daniels and Dean Furman travelled with the Bafana Bafana squad to Central America to face Costa Rica and Honduras during the FIFA international break.
However, SuperSport have confirmed via Twitter that the match has now not been postponed.
“CORRECTION: Matsatsantsa apologies for the earlier tweet regarding our fixture with @ChippaUtd . The match has not been postponed,” said the Tweet.
SuperSport and Chippa is scheduled for Saturday, October 17 at 18:00.
It has been reported that Bafana Bafana will only arrived on Saturday morning in the country.
