SA teams chase Msowoya's signature

Cape Town - Former Orlando Pirates striker, Chiukepo Msowoya, who has hit a rich vein of form with Malawian club Big Bullets, is being monitored by several clubs in South Africa.

News reaching Sport24 is that there are two PSL teams currently interested in the striker, though the source could not mention the names.

The source said that in the 11 games he has played for Bullets this season he has scored seven goals already.

"I think it's his good form which has attracted interest from the teams," the source said.

"Since he returned back from Mozambique he has been doing very well and he has not only been scoring goals but is also creating for his team mates.

"On Monday he scored for the national team as they played against Uganda in an international friendly.

"I am not sure of the teams because they are talking to Bullets directly."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
