Rosslee's job safe... for now

Durban - Craig Rosslee’s job is safe as AmaZulu intend on having “in-depth” discussions with the clubs technical team to revert Usuthu’s slump.

According to KickOff, AmaZulu will hold a meeting with Rosslee and his technical team on how the club can get back to winning ways after a dismal start to their Absa Premiership campaign.

“So we need to hear first from them (the technical staff) to hear where the problem is, and address the problem,” said Usuthu’s marketing manager Lunga Sokhela.

Sport24 reported that Rosslee could be the next PSL coach without a job after Cavin Johnson parted ways with SuperSport United.

Sokhela reiterated that there is no such consideration of axing the former Ajax Cape Town mentor and that they need to take care of Kwazulu-Natal based club.

“Tomorrow’s (Tuesday, September 2) discussion will not be about the coach - we won't even have that discussion. We are not a club that is firing coaches,” said Sokhela.

“If you fire Craig [Rosslee] now, who is going to come and not going to have the same situation? Who is to say they are going to do a better job?”
