Ronwen to trial at Schalke

Cape Town - SuperSport United goalkeeper, Ronwen Williams, will travel to Germany for a trial with Bundesliga side Schalke FC.

Soccer Laduma have have revealed the impressive shot stopper will spend a week in Germany where he will undergo a week-long training session with Schalke FC.

Williams had a fantastic 2013/14 domestic season which culminated in a call up to the Bafana Bafana squad. 

He made his debut for Bafana Bafana in a friendly against Brazil.

Williams has previously been linked with trials in Spain and Belgium but he will now have his opportunity to show off his talent in Germany.

Williams has made over 50 appearances for SuperSport United.
