Rivaldo should go to Europe

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender, Tsepo Masilela, is of the opinion that Ajax Cape Town's Rivaldo Coetzee would be best served making a move to Europe sooner, rather than later.

The 18-year-old has attracted admiring glances from several Premiership clubs after an impressive Premiership campaign last term.

The likes of Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns have been credited with a strong interest in the player, although Ajax Amsterdam are also said to be interested in acquiring the promising defender's services.

Masilela believes Coetzee should jump at the chance to join a European club, rather than prolong his stay in South Africa.

"It is a difficult scenario to give an opinion on as you know in football, opinions differ," Masilela told Football411.com.

"But if you ask me, I'd say Europe would be best for him now.

"It's where he would grow more as a player; he would develop more there and go on to become something special there because he is still younger too.

"Compared to me, he is the more fortunate because he's got the chance to go now whilst he's still younger I was.

"But it is up to him to decide and whoever is consulting him because I'm sure he is not alone in making these decisions.

"But in my opinion, Europe would be best for him."
