Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have suffered an injury blow with defender Rivaldo Coetzee being a major doubt for the PSL fixture against Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday night.
Rivaldo came off in the first-half of the goalless draw against Maritzburg United on Saturday night after suffering from a groin injury.
Urban Warriors coach Roger de Sa says they will continue assessing the Bafana Bafana international leading up to the Celtic clash at Cape Town Stadium.
“Rivaldo has a groin injury and we are going to see if he will make it for Wednesday or not so that we can get him ready for our next game,” KickOff.com website quote him as saying.
The 18-year-old has featured in all of Ajax's games this season and has also been an instrumental part of the Bafana team that qualified for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
