Originally, Ea Lla Koto were interested in signing the forward on loan for the rest of this season, but Sundowns turned down the attempt insisting he had a role to play for the first team.
Goal.com is now reporting that the Brazilians have agreed to let Free State sign Ramagalela at the end of this campaign, if he is unable to hold down a regular first-team place for the duration of this season.
"Stars wanted to sign the player on loan, but as you know Sundowns turned them down, stating that he still forms part of the team's plans for the season," an unknown source said.
"I heard that the two teams have agreed for the player to move there next season if his situation doesn't improve in the second half of the season, but this was just in principle and could therefore change," added the source.
The striker has only played 33 minutes of football for Sundowns this season but the sale of Richard Henyekane to Free State Stars at the beginning of the campaign has left Pitso Mosimane reluctant to further weaken his reserves up front.
