Cape Town - Roger de Sa believes his Ajax Cape Town side is playing Kaizer Chiefs the perfect time and they want to take advantage of that.

De Sa expressed his views on facing Chiefs this time of the year, as well as their difficult schedule with the CAF Champions League and maintaining their lead on top of the PSL log.

“It was important for us to get a win again. I was a little bit disappointed with the Polokwane result,” said De Sa said on the clubs official website.

“For me, matches against the likes of Polokwane and AmaZulu are games you have to win.

“Maybe this is the right time to play Chiefs. They’ve just been to Africa and it’s crunch-time for them in the league, but we know they still have a lot of quality.

“Some of their players might also have their eye on the Soweto Derby, which will be good for us.

“They might also rest a few key players and also some players who are on three yellow’s to make sure they are available for the derby,” concluded De Sa.

Ajax travel to Johannesburg for the encounter set to be played at FNB Stadium on Wednesday, March 4.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
