R17m for Bafana star

Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur are set to fork out R17m for Bafana Bafana and SuperSport defender United Bongani Khumalo, according to a report on Timeslive

The Supersport United defender flies to London on Thursday night to spend a week training with Spurs.

Khumalo will join the north London side officially during the January transfer window, but until then he will make regular visits to White Hart Lane when Supersport's fixture calendar allows.

Khumalo has been touted as a future Bafana captain by former coach Carlos Alberto Parreira and will be a major loss to United.
