Preview: FS Stars v Platinum Stars

Cape Town - Free State Stars take on Platinum Stars at Goble Park on Saturday with the hope of pulling themselves out of the Premiership relegation zone.

The Bethlehem-based side are second from bottom in the league, but their opposition are only two points above them, meaning they will be confident that they can get the win.

Ea Lla Koto lost to league leaders Kaiser Chiefs in their last game, their third outing without a win, but will be hoping to bounce back against Dikwena.

Platinum Stars have drawn in their last three matches and find themselves just two points above their opponents. They will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they make the short trip south for their final game of 2014.

Free State Stars players Paulus Masehe, Robert Sankara, and Tumelo Letuka will have to be careful as another yellow card will mean they will miss the first match of the New Year when the PSL returns in February.

Luvolwethu Mpeta is suspended for Platinum Stars, while Eleazar Darryll Rodgers will suffer the same fate if he picks up a booking on Saturday.

Neither club has reported any fresh injury concerns ahead of the match.
