Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic will look to cement their place in the top eight when they travel to Port Elizabeth to take on Chippa United.

Phunya Sele Sele currently sit fifth in the Premiership standings, tied on 37 points with Ajax Cape Town directly beneath them, with four games to go this season.

However, Clinton Larsen's side will be hoping for better fortunes this time around, having lost 1-0 at home to fellow top-eight hopefuls Maritzburg United most recently.

Prior to the visit of the Team of Choice, Celtic handed defending league champions Mamelodi Sundowns a surprise 5-0 thrashing, and they will be targeting a return to winning ways against the Chilli Boys.

Ernst Middendorp's men held Bidvest Wits to a goalless draw last time out, which followed on from the morale-boosting 1-0 win over Moroka Swallows.

That two-game unbeaten run has taken the PE outfit six points clear of danger, with AmaZulu and Swallows currently occupying the final two places in the table.

The hosts have suspension concerns hanging over the heads of four of their players going into the midweek clash.

Defenders James Okwuosa and Ruben Cloete, midfielder Manti Moholo and striker George Akpabio are all on three yellow cards and one booking away from a one-match ban.

Siwelele have two players walking the suspension tightrope, with midfield duo Mogogi Gabonamong and Jacky Motshegwa each one caution short of incurring one-game suspensions.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
