Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic will be desperate to widen the gap between
themselves and the Premiership relegation zone when they host fellow
strugglers Moroka Swallows on Sunday.
Phunya Sele Sele have found themselves spiralling out of control in the top flight following a run of three successive defeats, with that dire form seeing them drop to 10th in the standings, just two points clear of the bottom-two.
All three of those encounters finished in 1-0 losses, the most recent of whoich came last weekend against title hopefuls Bidvest Wits.
Swallows, meanwhile, have enjoyed a somewhat more tolerable run over the same period, having taken four points from their last three matches, although they sit outside the drop zone only on goals scored, as they share the same goal difference with 15th-placed Free State Stars.
That makes the three points this weekend of the utmost importance to both sides, setting up a potentially thrilling encounter at the Free State Stadium.
Mukuka Mulenga will be hoping to have proven his fitness to Celtic coach Ernst Middendorp, with the on-loan Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder having yet to play a full 90 minutes in his six league matches so far this term.
Swallows, meanwhile, will have to do without the services of Tsietsi Mahoa, who is missing through suspension, although the Soweto club have reported no other fresh absentees.
