Cape Town - Bidvest Wits host Free State Stars in just one of three all-Premiership match-ups in the Nedbank Cup last 32.

The tie takes place at the Bidvest Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday night, February 21.

The Clever Boys were losing finalists in the 2014 edition of the competition, going down 3-1 to Orlando Pirates.

Stars, meanwhile, suffered an embarrassing first-round defeat after being edged out 1-0 by National First Division side Witbank Spurs on their home turf in the Free State.

Not only will Wits have home ground advantage on Saturday night, but they are also a side showing good form in the league - the Students are currently in second spot, 10 points off pace-setters Kaizer Chiefs.

Gavin Hunt’s side are unbeaten in their last eight matches in all competitions, while having won their last three.

Stars on the other hand are only two places above the relegation zone, although they have shown some improvement of late by taking five points from their last three league games.

Bafana Bafana defender Thulani Hlatshwayo will be available again for the Johannesburg side after missing the 2-0 win over Moroka Swallows due to suspension.

With no suspensions for Saturday’s showdown, both teams should be just about at full strength for this encounter.

The Clever Boys do, however, have captain Sibusiso Vilakazi sitting on three yellow cards, one game away from suspension, while Robert Sankara and Tumelo Letuka are in the same situation for Kinnah Phiri’s team.

Only Calvin Kadi remains out injured for Wits, while Ea Lla Koto are expected to have a clean bill of health.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
