Praise pours in for Magolego

Cape Town - The South African soccer community continue to send in their condolences for the late Sundowns player, Joas Magolego.

KickOff.com reports that kind words and tributes continue to flood in after the Mamelodi Sundowns' Joas Magolego passed away on Friday.

Former team-mates and the wider soccer fraternity have expressed their fondest memories of Magolego, as they struggle to come to terms with the former player's death at the age of just 42.

Magolego was capped twice at international level but it was at Sundowns were his left his mark.

Former Sundowns colleague Ernest Mtawali was left shock and saddened by the passing of his ex-teammate, particularly as Magolego was making an impact in soccer at a grassroots level.

Magolego played for Mamelodi Sundowns from 1990 until 2002.

Sport24 would like to express its condolences to Magolego’s family and friends as well as the Mamelodi Sundowns fraternity.
