Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs legend Pollen Ndlanya believes it is only a matter of time before David Zulu starts scoring now that he is being given regular game time.
Zulu has quickly become a firm fixture of the Amakhosi first team since Steve Komphela was appointed as head coach in June this year.
The striker is yet to score for Chiefs in their two competitive fixtures so far this season, but Ndlanya has implored Komphela to stick with the 29-year-old.
"It is good that Zulu is playing regularly. I saw some improvement in his game over the weekend and he will soon get the goals," Ndlanya told goal.com.
"A striker needs to play regularly to get his confidence and bang the goals. I have no doubt that very soon he will do that and in my opinion Komphela should not panic due to lack of goals."
Chiefs came away from their opening league game of the season with a disappointing 0-0 draw, but Ndlanya believes they played well and fans should not panic after one result,
"Chiefs played against a very determined Chilli Boys' side. Chippa were very good on the day and it was a good game of football overall."
