Pollen: Ndulula needs luck

Cape Town - Former Kaizer Chiefs striker, Pollen Ndlanya, believes new recruit Bongani Ndulula may find the pressure at Amakhosi too much to bare.

Ndlanya, who played for both Chiefs and Orlando Pirates during his glittering career, is unsure that Ndulula will have the mental strength of playing for the biggest club in the country.

Ndlanya said the transition from AmaZulu and Chiefs may take some time for the striker.

"Ndulula is very good but the confidence is lacking. What makes it worse is that there is a lot of pressure," Ndlanya told Soccer Laduma.

"Let's not rule him out - he needs confidence and aggressiveness to score goals. Maybe he can turn things around at Chiefs.

"He will need luck! He's got height and strength. He's got everything he needs as a nine. It's just that he doesn't have belief in himself."
