Cape Town – Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has lauded his player’s on the substitute’s bench after securing a win over Bloemfontein Celtic.
According to KickOff, Mosimane admits that the players he had brought on to invigorate his side brought value to the team.
“The substitutes, they were very good, they added value,” said Pitso.
“But I had to switch them on all the time, move Laffor from the right to striker, move Ngele to the left, Keagan to the right, but through the course of the game that came in.”
Substitute Anthony Laffor scored the only goal of the game after 69 minutes when he slotted in at the second attempt from captain Ramahlwe Mphahlele's delivery.
Meanwhile, Mosimane’s charges shift their focus to the Telkom Knockout when they face Free State Stars at Goble Park Stadium on Sunday, October 25.
