Johannesburg - After recording his first win since taking over as coach at Mamelodi Sundowns, Pitso Mosimane says the team is on the right track.
According to soccerladuma.co.za website, the Brazilians picked up a 1-0 win over Black Leopards on Sunday with Katlego Mphela getting the winning goal.
“One step at a time, the team is still nervous. If you look at the match against Free State Stars, at least we put together a few passes and it’s coming. The main thing for us to keep zero behind us, Sundowns are capable of scoring at home or away, so we must just keep zero behind,” Mosimane said.
“Black Leopards are good, they have good movements and they gave us trouble.”
Mosimane was also delighted to have Mphela back in the side and admitted he took a big risk in bringing the striker back from injury.
“It was a little difficult, I was on the edge. I am happy for Killer (Mphela) though. I took a risk by playing him. I left Eleazar Rodgers out who scored for us against Free State Stars. It’s good to put a little bit of competition in the squad."
