Police called to rescue Pitso

Cape Town - Pitso Mosimane had to be escorted by armed police out of the stadium following Mamelodi Sundowns defeat to keep angry fans at bay.

The Chloorkop side went down 2-1 to Golden Arrows at Chatsworth Stadium in the club’s second defeat of the 2015/16 season.

According to Times Live, the former Bafana Bafana coach and his players were waited by fans when the team was headed to the bus to leave the stadium.

Reports suggest that fans were demanding that Mosimane step down from his coaching post at Sundowns following yet another poor start to the Absa Premiership.

Fans were chanting, “Pitso, please leave us now” but the chants did not bother Mosimane as he was acknowledging the fans anger in a positive manner.

Meanwhile, the Brazilians face Ajax Cape Town next week Wednesday, September 23 due to the MTN8 Cup final taking place this weekend.
