According to KickOff, Sundowns brushed AmaZulu aside with a 2-0 victory courtesy of a Malajila brace and Mosimane feels that his striker is “pouncing”.

“Malajila came to our rescue. He is fighting for his position and everybody must fight for their position,” said the former Bafana Bafana coach about the 28-year-old.

“Mala (Malajila) is only interested in scoring. He doesn't care about the play and all that. He is typical striker, a fox in the box.”

Mosimane admits that there is limited space upfront as Sursprise Moriri, Katlego Mashego, Mame Niang along with Malajila are all fight for places.

Sundowns next face Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday, September 14 at 15:00.
