Pirates to complete the double over Chiefs

Johannesburg - There is a saying stating that lightning never strikes the same place twice.

However, I have recently witnessed lightning striking twice within 8 days at Orlando Stadium and Suez Army Stadium in Cairo when Africa's team of the century and current holder of CAF Confederations Cup, Al Ahly, suffered back-to-back defeats against Orlando Pirates.

Heading to their CAF Confederations semi-final second-leg clash no one gave Pirates a chance and everyone believed that it was the end of the road for the 1995 CAF Champions League winners.

Despite trailing 2-0 in the second-half, Pirates showed character and easily demolished, shamed and dismantled the Egypt beast with a 4-3 win and due to that nothing will stop them to achieve back-to-back triumphs against arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, November 7.

The Buccaneers endured their poorest start to the season since the inception of the PSL in 1996/97, but they came to the party when they defeated Chiefs 3-1 in the league last weekend and also ended Chiefs unbeaten run in the current campaign.

My score predictions Pirates 2-1 Chiefs.
