Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfielder Thandani Ntshumayelo says the club is not concerned about Mamelodi Sundowns' results and is fully focused on the job at hand.

The Buccaneers and the Brazilians are in a race for second place and the final qualification place for next season's CAF Champions League.

Downs hold a three-point advantage over the Sea Robbers, meaning Pirates need to win both of their remaining games and hope their Soweto rivals slip-up.

However, Ntshumayelo says the club will not be distracted by hoping for Sundowns to make a mistake and will instead put all their focus into winning their games.

"We have tough away fixtures to Maritzburg and Ajax Cape Town," he told Soccer Laduma.

"It would have been nicer to conclude the season at home in front of our supporters but we will count on them to support us away.

Meanwhile, Bibo and his teammates are aware that finishing second is still possible as they look to part-take in the CAF Champions League next season.

"It starts with tonight, we can't afford to be distracted by what others are doing, we are Pirates players and focus on what Pirates have to do," he concluded.
