Pirates midfielder mourns mother's death

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates have sent Issa Sarr and his family their heartfelt condolences after the midfielder's mother passed away.

"Orlando Pirates Football Club would like to send its deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of midfielder Issa Sarr who lost his mother yesterday," said the message on Orlando Pirates website.

"Sarr heard of the sad news upon the club’s return from Egypt on Tuesday.

"To Issa...

"Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in our every thought and prayer.

"May the comfort of God help you and your family during this difficult time.

"We pray for her soul to rest in peace and for you to regain strength from this.

"We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

"May her soul Rest In Peace!"
