Mozambique striker Helder Pelembe and right-back Mthokozisi Dube, who both played for Roses United when Celtic’s owner Max Tshabalala was at the helm of the former NFD club, will attend the club’s training camp in Gauteng from Sunday.
The players will attend the camp to be monitored, while Celtic and Pirates negotiate the players’ release.
”Yes! Both players are with the team to be monitored by our technical team because of our on-going negotiations with their club,” Celtic MD Rali Ramabodu confirmed on the club’s website.
“We have been given permission to invite them for our training camp.
“They will add value when eventually signed because of their phenomenal work rate, we must commend Pirates for the professional manner in which they are dealing with our request.
“We are confident to clinch the deal before the season starts.”
