Pirates Legends team revealed

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates have named 18 of the legends that will be representing them against a team of Manchester United legends on Saturday.

According to the Soccer Laduma website, Pirates will take on a team of former United players at Ellis Park on Saturday afternoon (kick-off at 18:00), a few hours after Bafana Bafana’s African Cup of Nations (AFCON) clash with Sudan (15:00) at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Bafana’s game will be shown on a big screen at Ellis Park prior to the legends game, so fans in Johannesburg will be able to watch both matches at the venue.

United’s team includes some former greats such as Paul Scholes, Lee Sharpe and Viv Anderson, as well as South Africa’s own Quinton Fortune.
