Pirates' Klate suspended

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates will be without winger Daine Klate who will serve a one match suspension when Bucs host Maritzburg United in a PSL clash on Tuesday night.

According to Pirates' official website, the winger has received his fourth straight yellow card and will have to sit out a match.

Coach Vladimir Vermezovic may count on roping in Aubrey Ngoma, Tlou Segolela or Joseph Molangoane who will fight for the vacant spot left by Klate.

Klate scored the winning goal for Bucs in their 2-1 Nedbank Cup quarter-final victory over Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria at the weekend.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
