Pics: Fans' favourite Senzo moments

Cape Town - Sport24 readers reveal their most memorable moments of former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa.

The 'keeper was killed when two armed men entered a house where Meyiwa was present and shot the 30-year-old.

Meyiwa's girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo was also in the house but was not harmed.

The suspects immediately fled the scene with another suspect waiting in the car.

A year later and the murderers have still not been captured.

To celebrate the life of the goalkeeper, Sport24 asked Pirates and football fans alike to share their most memorable moments of Meyiwa in action and thousands of messages swarmed through our Twitter and Facebook accounts.

@Sport24news great shot and penalty stopper, who would forget what Hlompo Kekana did to him with that thunder bolt, said @lefaskuman on Twitter.

He continued saying, @Sport24news when he replaced moneeb josephs in the CBL CUP and won it for us in the penalties with stupendous penalty saves.

When he told @TPMazembe captain Tresor Mputu "You won't score me" as he was about to take a penalty #CAFCL2013 @Sport24news, said @OPFC_Supporters.

I still remember his last game against Ajax,said Lungile Makasi on Facebook.

  

“That save he made against Bloemfontein Celtic when he was out of his goal-line area n the penalty saves against TP Mazembe,” @teboho_bok said.

“@Sport24news and a sublime save he made against Cosmos in the 2011/12 season from a Katlego Loke free kick,” @lefaskuman said.
