Cape Town - AmaZulu goalkeeper coach Davies Phiri spoke highly of the team’s new goalkeeper Mpendulo Dlamini.

Phiri told AmaZulu’s website that he can see Dlamini playing for Bafana Bafana if he keeps on with the attitude of always willing to learn.

"He has the correct height, he is brave enough and most importantly he is always willing to learn," the goalkeeper coach said.

"I have no doubt that if he continues with that attitude; he will one day play for Bafana Bafana.

"I have been impressed with the way he has carried himself at training. He is a great goalkeeper and I am sure great things are ahead of him."

The young goalkeeper added that he is excited to finally be in the club’s first team and is willing to learn from the experienced goalkeepers.

"I am very excited to be finally signed by the club’s first team; this has always been my dream," said Dlamini.

"I am willing to learn from the experienced goalkeepers here at the club and hopefully when my opportunity comes I will excel and use them well," said Dlamini.

"It is also my dream to play for the national team one day and for that I will have to put in the hard work."
