Phala scoops top SSU honour

Cape Town - SuperSport United held their annual awards ceremony on Thursday, where Thuso Phala walked away with the Player of the Season honour.

The midfielder proved Matsatsantsa's star performer in 2014/15, scoring eight goals and making 13 assists to earn the top individual gong.

Meanwhile, David Mathebula took home the Players' Player of the Season award, while Dove Wome and Jeremy Brockie shared the Golden Boot after each bagging 10 goals.

SuperSport United awards:

Player of the Season: Thuso Phala

Player's Player of the Season: David Mathebula

Top Goalscorers: Dove Wome and Jeremy Brockie (both 10 goals)

Moment of the Season: Ronwen Williams (double save in TKO Final)

MDC Player of the Year: Zakhele Mgobhozi

Chairman's Award: Kwanele Kopo

Coach's Award: Joe Boshielo and Patrick Molepo (Both kit managers)

CEO's Award: Webster Lichaba
