Chiefs handed Swallows a 3-0 defeat at Dobsonville and Parker was on the score-sheet along with an assist for George Lebese’s goal while Greg Etafia gifted Amakhosi with the lead after punching a corner-kick into his own net.
Parker says that he did not have his best 90 minutes: "I don't think I deserve this Man of the Match. It wasn't a good game for myself, I didn't play well," said Parker as quoted by KickOff.
"But I think it's because of my hard work that I managed to assist George Lebese to his goal and to score a goal [assist for own-goal from a corner-kick], and also to get another one at the end.
"So I think [I've been rewarded] because of my hard work and being the best teammate I can be for my teammates even though I've been off form lately, so maybe this is a motivation for the future."
