KickOff, a brace from Kingston Nkhatha along with Jeremy Brockie and Dove Wome
put City’s chances to bed when the two sides met in the Nedbank Cup last-32.
Papic was quick to
defend is backline despite the 4-1 thumping with City scoring first through Rendani
"When the attacker misses a chance, nobody is saying
anything. But when a defender does a mistake, everyone is complaining about
defence," said Papic.
"We must be realistic in football... football is about
11 people on the field and the other side is also 11 people.
"If you not scoring and you attack the defender and
this is not supposed to be."
And things won’t get
any easier for Rise and Shine as they travel to Soweto over the weekend to take
on Orlando Pirates in a PSL tie.
Kick-off is at 18:00.
