Cape Town – Polokwane City suffered a humiliating defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns and Kosta Papic admits that this is not the Rise and Shine he is coaching.

A brace from Khama Billiat, as well as goals from Cuthbert Malajila, Anthony Laffor and Rodney Ramagalela took the Brazilians to an emphatic victory against City.

According to KickOff, Papic says that he needs to sit down with his squad and figure out what is going wrong.

"This is not the Polokwane City which I am coaching completely,” said Papic.

"We must sit down and find out what is going wrong; to analyse how a team can be playing like this, this is not football at all. From the second minute of the match I am... you saw me, I am sitting on the bench I am knowing it's not there. I don't know what's happened.

"I told them in the dressing room the same thing. To wake these young gentlemen up you really have to work very hard. To lose a match like this, this is not my team that I am coaching.”

Polokwane are sitting comfortably in eighth position as they look to prepare themselves for yet another stern test when they face Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday, March 14 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Kick-off is at 15:30.
